This past day wasn’t too exciting, but it was still fun. The night before we decided not to go to outlet malls in the morning so we didn’t have to leave the hotel until noon, which means I didn’t get up till 11:20. We loaded up the bus and headed towards Washington D.C. The trip was only 4 or 5 hours so it wasn’t too bad, but our hotel is about 20 min away from D.C. Anyhow, we unloaded our stuff then turned around and got back on the bus to see the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, and the Jefferson Memorial. This took about 3 or 4 hours and by then, all the restaurants were closed for the night. Some people went to a grocery store nearby and others went to a gas station. I didn’t get anything because I have a bad habit of constantly nibbling on food, so I was full. I went running a couple miles in the fitness room and now I’m writing this.
Tomorrow will be a bit more scheduled because we are going to all sorts of museums and Caleb, Kelton, and I have to do another story, but it won’t be too bad. At least we had all of New York off.
