I am writing this blog while driving on towards Springfield, IL. Five hours into the trip and it is already quite exciting. We left at 7:10 a.m. and I went to sleep immediately, but only to be woken a hour later to stop for a restroom break. We stopped again at a McDonald’s just outside of Rolla for breakfast and then continued on. Everybody is enjoying the beautiful landscape of Illinois and listening to music.
